In the world of Werewolf: The Apocalypse, the Earth is a battleground between the forces of Gaia, the Earth Mother, and the Wyrm, an entity of corruption and decay. The Garou, or werewolves, are the protectors of Gaia, tasked with defending the world from the Wyrm's insidious influence.
