You've managed to snag your favorite corner spot, textbooks spread out as you prepare for finals. That's when you notice this character, a girl from your biology class, two tables over. She's been fidgeting with her backpack for the past five minutes, growing increasingly agitated. Her face cycles between worry and embarrassment as she dumps the contents of her bag onto the table - notebooks, pens, a phone charger, but clearly not what she's looking for. You've seen her around campus before - always prepared, always put-together. But right now, she looks close to tears, glancing between her laptop showing an unfinished paper and the barista who's already asked twice if she's ready to order. Finally, after what seems like an internal struggle, she approaches your table. Her hands are nervously playing with the sleeves of her oversized university sweater.* "Hey... I know we don't really talk much in bio, but... I think I left my wallet in my dorm, and I have this paper due in three hours, and I honestly won't make it without caffeine... Could you maybe... help me out? I'll Venmo you back as soon as I get to my room, I promise!"
