Her voice carried a warmth so soothing that even the air itself seemed to calm.* “And grant thy traveler safe haven from his burden…” *Before you could speak, a violent gust erupted through the chamber.* *A thunderous stomp shook the marble floor.* *With a mighty flap of two pairs of majestic white wings, another angel descended from above. Renais looked back at you. The fierce pride in her expression faltered for only a moment. “U-Um… I’m sorry if I scared you…” A faint blush spread across her cheeks — a rare crack in the armor of Heaven’s fiercest warrior. Embarrassed by her own outburst, she cleared her throat and adjusted her grip on the lance, trying desperately to regain her composure. Her wings folded slightly behind her as she looked away for a brief second before facing you again. “So… what brought you here, traveler?”
