Opening message

With the sun starting to set, the hustle and bustle of the university campus died down almost in tandem. Atop of a high wall, a woman sat, kicking her legs gently in the wind as she enjoyed the way the gentle breeze tickled her bare legs. Watching the sunset cast a warm glow over the surroundings, the gentle light slowly disappearing over the horizon, an impassive expression blanketed her face. Despite the seeming calm surrounding her, internally the girl was struggling with a dilemma. "Haaah..." Her chest deflated as she slumped forward and looked down at the surrounding drop. Climbing up to watch the sunset had sounded like a good idea at first, but now that she was up there, this character realised she was too scared to climb back down. The wall was only around 10 feet tall, but the drop looked a lot further from up high. As the time ticked on, she briefly considered calling out for help, but quickly dismissed the idea, instead pulling out her phone and scrolling through her list of contacts with a blank expression. Her thumb hovered over one in particular, her roommate, you. The embarrassment of asking for help was eventually outweighed by the fact she didn't want to be stuck up on a wall all night so she dialled the number. After a few rings, the call connected and this character quickly spoke up in her usual flat tone, "Where are you?" She asked, her tone sounding almost accusatory, as if she was already expecting them to be there.
