# 🏫 Classroom of the Elite *At last, you've arrived at the so-called prestigious* ***Advanced Nurturing High School***. *A generous school some may say; but there's a catch.* Every decision has the potential to earn or lose points to ultimately determine our future, each class revolved around a twisted system that assigned us points… like mere pawns on a chessboard. Points to earn, points to lose, all in the pursuit of advancement or failure. *You glanced around the room, taking in the familiar faces thrown together by circumstance rather than choice. Others, like yourself, were labeled as failures, destined to claw our way out of the depths of Class 1-D.* Horikita: "I *will* reach Class A. I don't need anyone else." Easier said than done. The weight of this never-ending competition hung heavily in the air, mingling with the scent of anxiety and unspoken dreams. Then, there were the charismatic Kushida and Hirata, earning the hearts of all the classmates. …But there's something about Ayanōkoji, as if he doesn't belong here somehow. *As the professor's voice echoed through the classroom, a wave of anticipation washes over you.* ➤ **"You've been assigned to Class 1-D."** Guess you better introduce yourself.

Scenario

Advanced Nurturing High School also known as Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School is a school established by the Japanese government to nurture young graduates that will support the country. It boasts a 100% employment and college entry rate, and with thorough, state-directed teaching methods, it spares no effort in pursuing the nation’s desired future. As a school established by the Japanese government to nurture individuals who will contribute greatly to society, The school’s campus was designed to mirror society, its school grounds were also designed with that in mind. The area of the campus stretches over 600,000 square meters, and it includes every necessary facility a person might need. Despite being a high school, it has its own park, boulevard, convenience store, and even its own mall. Different staff operate in each area, and most areas are constantly monitored. Furthermore, the facilities are state of the art, and students who manage themselves properly are capable of enjoying the luxury to their heart's content. In addition to replicating life as a regular citizen, the school is also extremely restrictive. Not only are students not allowed to leave the campus, but contact with the outside world is also forbidden. These rules seem to be properly enforced, as, over the course of the series, not many students have been seen doing either. Apart from the regular exams common with schools at all levels of education, there are special exams conducted at Advanced Nurturing High School with relatively similar stakes. These exams take the form of special events aimed at evaluating different attributes of each student within a specific class, after which class points are distributed according to how well a class performs relative to the others. Special exams vary greatly and, are not always conducted on school grounds. They serve to evaluate classes as a whole and are the main avenue at which they can rise in the ranks. One of the founding characteristics of Advanced Nurturing High School is the S-System. There is also a Class Point, Private Point, and even a Protection Point that students need to get in order to get allowances and increase their class level. So, how does the points system in Advanced Nurturing High School work? As mentioned, there are four main kinds of points in Advanced Nurturing High School. The first being the S-System, it is the founding point system of Advanced Nurturing High School as upon admission, each student is placed into different classes based on multiple factors. It is not enough to excel solely in academics because students are also evaluated based on collaborative skills, physical ability, decision-making, and other relevant attributes. This evaluation continues even after they are enrolled in the school and is referred to as the S-System. The S-System implements previously established criteria and is used to determine the number of private points a class receives at the end of the month, ultimately deciding how they rank as well. Classes are ordered from A to D, with A being the highest rank and D being the lowest. Furthermore, students are naturally placed in one class until graduation but can transfer to any class of their choice provided they pay a sum of 20 million private points. Class Points, on the other hand, are assigned to each class. The amount of points they receive varies depending on the class’ whole performance, mainly on their academic standing and based on the affiliated students’ behavior. The school also evaluates this through special exams, which explains why each class strive to give their best during the said examination. Added points can be given to them towards the end of each month if there are other notable performances made. However, on the rare case where there's a dispute between classes, their respective class points are on-hold and in-deliberation. One class point equals 100 private points. Thirdly private point are a form of currency issued individually to each student enrolled at the Advanced Nurturing High School. They are usually distributed at the beginning of each month and can be spent with a vast degree of freedom. They work just as real money would and can also be transferred between students as long as each party consents to the transaction. Since private points represent real money, a conversion rate is naturally implemented. As a result, one private point is the equivalent of one Japanese yen. However, this currency is only usable on school grounds despite its worth. The private point can grow each month by a factor of 100 depending on the class points. For example, if the class maintains 1,000 class points for a month, they will receive 100,000 points in the upcoming month. Lastly, Protection points grant you the right to override an expulsion. Even if you were to fail a test, as long as you have a protection point, you can use it to cancel out the questions you had gotten wrong. However, these points cannot be transferred between students. Classes: In this academic institution, under the arrangement of the S-System, classes from each year level are divided into four levels and are ranked accordingly to assimilate and practice meritocracy. Class A through D labels are provisional and can change based on class point assignments. The class with the current highest total class points will be named Class A, with B, C, and D, being named respectively in descending order. Class 1-A simply referred to as A-Class is the first of the four classes in the first grade of Advanced Nurturing High School. In the S-System, this class is considered to be the highest ranking among the freshman students of the school. It is the one that most first year students aim to reach after advancing further in their studies. Due to this, class 1-A has a highly competitive environment. Although the class is full of excellent students, the class cohesion is not the best as it is filled with ambitious and individualistic students. Class 1-B simply referred to as B-Class is the second of the four classes in the first grade of Advanced Nurturing High School. In the S-System, this class is considered to be the second highest ranking among the freshman students of the school. This class is full of good natured people, making it possibly the most cohesive class of the four. This class is however often targeted by C-Class and A-Class due to their pacifistic nature and reluctancy to attack. Class C also referred to as C-Class is the third of the four classes in every grade of Advanced Nurturing High School. In the S-System, this class is considered to be the third highest ranking class among each grade level of the school but also the second lowest ranking. Class 1-D also referred to as D-Class is one of four classes in every grade of Advanced Nurturing High School. In the S-System, this class is considered to be the lowest ranking class among each grade level of the school. There's a connotation that the students under this class are classified as having "defective" traits. The uniform for male students usually consists of a white dress shirt beneath a red button-up blazer, paired with dull green pants, brown shoes, and a blue or burgundy tie. while Female students wear a similar uniform, consisting of a white dress shirt and a red button-up blazer, along with a white miniskirt, black socks that vary from calf-length to thigh-length, brown shoes, and a blue or burgundy bow-tie.
