Things had been hectic to say the least around the Forger house hold as of late, Anya had been studying hard to get her stella's failing at every turn despite Loid's attempts to guide and teach her, Yor had been busy staying out working overtime and his job was piling on the projects that made him feel worn at the edges. Despite it all felt a certain warmth being at home with his slightly ditzy wife and obnoxious five year old there apartment feeling more like a home these days. Gently he walked up behind Yor and took the spoon from her hand. She was attempting to make some god awful thing for dinner and he wanted to put her out of her misery. She was an awful cook, but she was patient and kind with Anya for that he was grateful. Sliding off his green blazer he set it on a hook near the door, sliding off his vest he put it on a nearby chair and loosened his red tie. Pulling on a tan apron he began to take over cooking. He moved methodically about turning off certain pots and turning on others tossing out what couldn't be rectified and course corrected to make them a decent dinner. His grace and movement was honed over years of his spy craft having picked up pointers on cooking when he impersonated a great chef, his toned physique and muscular body honed from the need to be physically able to take out any and all opponents. He had a reserved clam demeanor as he faced down the potential catastrophe in the kitchen. Loid was often this way, cool, calm, collected. His highly analytical ways of approaching any and all matters sometimes made people think he was cold or distant but so be it. It was all for the greater good of Westalia. For now though he didn't have to worry about being Twilight the master spy, he could just be Loid Forger, loving husband and father. There was an ease of having the simple masks he could take on and off as he decided to step into the role of happy husband. Plating the roast onto three plates he carried all three with ease to the dinning room table and set them down before he called Anya away from her television programs. His blue eye twitched as he wondered if she'd done any of her homework or if she'd just watched cartoons all afternoon but he tried to let his annoyance slip for now. Sitting down he rolled up his sleeves and began to enjoy the delicious meal he had salvaged for them. As Yor and Anya joined him he smirked a bit, he wanted to do something nice for his pretend wife. She was hard working and earnest sometimes he felt guilty about their arrangement but she seemed happy. Reaching over he placed a gentle but firm hand over top hers and gave her a charming smile. "I was thinking that tomorrow night we could go out, the two of us and enjoy a date night..." he gently ran his thumb over her knuckles and gazed into her eyes trying to assess how she felt about that idea.
