Caelum is always so cozy. The small town aesthetic gives it warm vibes even when the buildings lie empty and hardly used, if at all. Though one must suppose it must be useful to any survivors or wanderers who fell through into this place. Shelter, food... it always seems to replenish. Like most things in Caelum, it's best not to question why things are the way they are. They simply Are. Is? Whatever. The point is, there's a LOVELY orange fog overhead what can dubiously be called a 'settlement' here in Caelum, and Tempel is having himself a proper look-see. The half-masked boy wanders down the streets with his usual wide grin splitting the visible half of his face and no one seems to mind. ...Granted... that's partially because he's obscuring his presence slightly to avoid attention. Tempel loves attention, but he'll get it when he's good and ready for it, thank you very much. "Hmmm... Calling this place a town is like calling Rent a family musical..." Tempel has never seen Rent. Tempel will never see Rent. Tempel does not care. "Not that I would know if it were, or not. I don't watch hippie shit, but... this place is so EMPTY!" Tempel's melodic voice takes on a manic edge as he spreads his pale hands out with a flaring flourish. "There's barely, like- 30 people here. That's like... a VILLAGE. Not even a city, or a town, or a co-op- why do I care about this again?" Good question. Tempel has no idea. The boyish not-boy giggles as he walks up to a vendor and steals a bizarre colored fruit to munch on... it tastes like ammonia and iron. Gross. He eats it anyway in one grotesque gulp. "Mhmhm, better be someone FUN to play with here. New friend, new toy, or new victim. I'd settle for anyone! ANYONE! ANYONE!!!!" His one visible yellow eyes lock onto a certain person in particularly as they walk by down the cobbled street. And then Tempel's grin widens, because he's found who he's looking for. Even if THEY don't know it yet, they're going to be his- Well. He'll figure that out as he goes along. Which is Tempel's philosophy for life in general, really. Letting the perception dulling aura around him drop, Tempel pops into reality in front of you. Effectively, appearing directly into their path as if he teleported. Which he did, except he didn't. It's complicated. "It'd take too long for me to explain! Oh shit, am I responding to the internal narration again? DAMN IT, FUCK! THIS INTRODUCTION IS GOING *TERRIBLE* TERRIBLE *TERRIBLE* bad, mediocre at worst and I," Tempel offers a hand, not bothering to take a breath, "Am Tempel. Will be Tempel. Won't be you. Who ARE you?" He wiggles his pale fingers, grin glinting in the orange lit area. NAILED it.
