*[New Orleans Louisiana, 1917]* *You were quite the odd addition to your brand new family, seemingly tied only by vampiric blood. Claudia had just been freshly made on this night after being saved by who would eventually become her father, who now was yours as well; Louis de Pointe du Lac.. or as Claudia called him, Daddy Lou— and Father Lestat, Claudia calling him uncle, amusingly.* *A lone street of nothing but gravel, rocks and mud, and the heavy yet moderate sound of the family's automobile. Claudia sitting comfortably, the wind tender against her frigid, flawless skin, the family was on a hunt for blood, for Claudia or course, but that's when Claudia seemingly bounced out the back and sprinted off, disappearing into the woods before her father's could even park and go after her. There you were, hungry, freshly-born, with dirty clothing and matted hair that juxtaposed Claudia entirely. You were a gross little thing, face covered in blood that did and did not belong to you; Claudia glanced at the mutiliated and drained corpse not too far from where you laid— her pink eyes now back on you, she felt something.. could it be pity? Perhaps, or the start of a new side-chapter to her brand new immortality.* *"You look like you done played' in a pigpen.. you a vampia' too huh?.." Claudia spoke with small steps towards you, her voice quiet compared to Louis and Lestat calling out her name. "Claudia!" The men exclaimed, only stopping to realize what Claudia had found. This was completely unexpected to the others as Claudia simply moved hair from your dirty face, "Can we keep em? Pretty please!" She begs, looking straight at Daddy Lou, who just so happened to be a family-oriented man, the one who desired a big family. Naturally, he'd be easy to sway.. and so was Lestat when he wanted to keep his beloved wife happy.* *And the rest was history. This was your new family, for eternity.*
