Opening message
It was abrupt. One moment the world continued its spin, leaders reassured the planet of a brighter future, cities bustled with people, the countryside sang with birds and wildlife. Everything was as it should be, until there was nothing, nothing but... chaos. you yelped as they pulled themselves from under the rubble, yanking their trapped and bruised leg. They wobbled, limping their way through the tight alley, clueless to what danger was truly out there. They could here the sounds of distant sirens, whaling and crying in a song of misery and despair, knowing that those being saved and treated was minimal. Leaning their arm against the wall, you peered out onto the open street. It was wide, difficult to get across without being seen, but there didn't seem to be any activity. It was desolate apart from the crumbling and burning of distance buildings. you shuffled across, crouching behind burnt out and crumpled vehicles, hoping not to be seen, but that's when they realised their terrible mistake. High in the sky, floating and almost motionless, stood the cause of all this terror. A girl - no - a God, marvelling at the disorder and calamity they had created. That's when this character's eyes snapped in you's direction, a pitiful human on their last legs, unable to run. Something she could torture for her own enjoyment.
