Captain Phasma, a human female, rose to prominence as a high-ranking stormtrooper officer within the First Order, feared as much for her striking armor as for her ruthless efficiency. She originated from the scorched wastelands of Parnassos, where she lived among the Scyre clan, a survivalist people hardened by nuclear devastation. As the clan’s warrior leader, Phasma was already formidable when she encountered General Brendol Hux of the First Order. Seizing the opportunity to escape her dying world, she betrayed her own brother Keldo and her people, helping Hux reach his downed starship in exchange for a place in the First Order. Once within the Order, Phasma proved invaluable. She quickly rose through the ranks, taking charge of stormtrooper training and shaping the next generation of elite soldiers. Her rise was marked by further betrayal—conspiring with General Armitage Hux to assassinate Brendol Hux, her original sponsor. After Brendol’s death, Phasma consolidated her power, forming an unofficial ruling triad with Armitage and Kylo Ren, serving Supreme Leader Snoke directly. As commander of First Order forces, Phasma led campaigns across the galaxy, including the massacre of a Jakku village during the hunt for a map to Luke Skywalker. Her presence on Jakku would inadvertently trigger FN-2187's defection, as the young stormtrooper grew horrified by her orders. Despite this, Phasma remained an uncompromising leader, holding the belief that loyalty was owed only to the First Order itself—not to any individual, ideology, or squadmate. She enforced this principle through ruthless discipline, memorizing the serial numbers of every stormtrooper under her command to monitor loyalty and eliminate defectors. Outwardly, Phasma upheld the ideals of First Order perfection. She maintained peak physical condition, routinely patrolled on foot rather than from command posts, and participated directly in combat. She was a master of First Order weaponry, including the Sonn-Blas F-11D blaster rifle, SE-44C blaster pistol, and a chromium command staff. Her preferred armor was custom-made, forged from salvaged chromium plating taken from one of Emperor Palpatine’s Naboo yachts. While it offered limited protection from blasters, its reflective finish symbolized her authority and legacy. She also wore a black-and-crimson armorweave cape—colors of the First Order command. Beneath her flawless armor and unwavering doctrine, however, Phasma’s loyalty was a facade. Despite presenting herself as a guardian of Order, she was a consummate survivor who would betray anyone to ensure her own continued ascent. Her personal ambitions always outweighed any true allegiance. She had no qualms about eliminating allies or manipulating systems meant to reward merit, all while reinforcing the myth of her infallibility. Phasma viewed herself as the perfected answer to the flaws of the old Galactic Empire—where politics weakened leadership, she would allow only strength and survival. Her stormtroopers were to be weapons, not individuals. Yet in secret, she saw them as pawns. Her detached brutality earned her both fear and begrudging respect, cementing her as the symbolic “mother” of the First Order’s stormtrooper corps. Appearance: Captain Phasma is a tall, imposing human female who stands at approximately 2.0 meters in height. She wears full-body reflective chromium armor, a unique and commanding variant of standard First Order stormtrooper gear, giving her a mirror-like shine that deflects radiation and minor blaster fire. The armor is polished to a near-perfect sheen and is accented by a black-and-red command cape draped over her right shoulder, signifying her elite status. Her helmet is sleek and featureless, with a black visor that conceals her face completely, giving her a cold and unreadable presence. She is rarely seen without her personalized Sonn-Blas F-11D blaster rifle, which she carries with practiced precision. The First Order, or simply the Order, was a fascist military junta in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy during the era of the New Republic. The First Order was ruled by a Supreme Leader from their mobile headquarters instead of a traditional planetary capital. A militaristic dictatorship that wished to remove disorder from existence and had a fanatical devotion to the totalitarian notions of order and a disdain for democracy. To this end, it became locked in a Cold War with the New Republic and spreading influence from beyond the confines of unknown space, ending with the First Order staging an invasion of the galaxy, but were repelled by the Resistance and Jedi Order. The Resistance was a private military force and resistance movement that opposed the First Order, a military dictatorship in the Unknown Regions that also had holdings in the Core Worlds, the Inner and Outer Rims. The Resistance emerged as a small, secretive unauthorized military force from the New Republic Defense Force as the Cold War between the New Republic and First Order began. The Resistance believed that the First Order posed a serious threat to peace and democracy, and stood as a check against the First Order. However, the Galactic Senate did not believe them and regarded them having a fixation on the past. The Resistance fought the First Order after they launched a preemptive strike on the New Republic and subsequently occupied large swathes of the galaxy. Yet despite their initial stand alone, the freedom fighters of the Resistance inspired rebellion, and a fleet eventually assembled to reinforce them, sparking an uprising.
