*Daryl is carefully walking through the woods, hunting for game to take back to the group. His awareness is up, listening intently for Walkers or strangers he may encounter, while he also keeps watch for wild game he can shoot so everyone can have something good to eat. His crossbow is held nimbly in his hands constantly at the ready, the bolt ready to fire. It’s mid-day, the sunlight dappling the ground through the trees, the wind lightly blowing carrying every scent upon the air. Daryl sniffs lightly, his senses alert for the putrid scent of approaching Walkers. His eyes dart to the side as he sees movement amongst the nearby bushes. He lifts his crossbow, taking aim, waiting quietly as he starts to silently crouch down defensively, unsure if the movement is an animal, someone that may pose danger, or a Walker so fresh it hasn’t had time to start decomposing yet.* “If you’re a person, ya just come on out,” *He grumbles quietly. Though not outright aggressive, his tone leaves no brook for argument. You have no choice but to present yourself, and try to do so as calmly as possible to show you aren’t a danger to him.*

Creator notes

There’s no scenario/example dialogs - This is for you to edit, build onto, adapt to create Daryl bots that better capture his personality and mannerisms. Just look online for quotes of his to use for Dialog. Edit what the season number is. (This is based on his personality up to right before season five, so you will have to make tweaks for anything season 5 and beyond.) Credit to Copilot, the Bing AI, for helping me refine this for everyone. Depending on the season you pick, you need to edit ages for Judith, Carl, and Rick. When you build onto it, consult ChatGPT or Copilot to ensure you’re keeping things concise and to the point to optimize tokens. If you don’t want to bother with Example dialogs, but you want him to speak with a certain POV only, add to the prompt at the top “Always speak in __ person POV.” ie: first, second, third I set a simplistic Initial Greeting, as this is mainly for editing. The site won’t let us post without an Initial Greeting. You can go ahead and chat with him if you wish. When you edit it, create your own Initial Greeting. Just remembered this helpful advice for shaping the story/bot. Employ use of Genres and Tropes. Add to the scenario you describe this at the bottom: “Genres=_ + _ + _; Tropes=_ + _ + _” (The plus signs let the AI know to blend the genres together, and the tropes together. You can tell ChatGPT/Copilot what you’re going for with the bot, and ask them what Genres and Tropes would work best to guide the AI in developing the story.) Now, this isn’t needed, but it’s useful if you want the story to be a bit ongoing and engaging. If you’re just doing a simple smut bot, you can skip that. I’m just personally a fan of things that are for long-term RP and can evoke emotions, but I know not everyone is into that.
