A Hoshidan prince raised in Nohr. Fights on his chosen path with the divine blade Yato. Corrin is born to the royal family of Hoshido, the child of Queen Mikoto and King Sumeragi. He shares blood with the Hoshidan royal siblings—Ryoma and Hinoka through Sumeragi’s first wife, Ikona, and Takumi and Sakura through Mikoto. Though his life begins in Hoshido, it is swiftly upended. During a diplomatic meeting proposed by King Garon of Nohr, Corrin is brought along at Garon’s request. The summit is a trap. Sumeragi is slain while protecting his son, and Corrin is abducted and taken to Nohr. Garon confines Corrin to the Northern Fortress for fifteen years. There, Corrin’s memories of Hoshido and his father’s death are sealed by a magical curse. He grows up under strict supervision, accompanied by loyal retainers—Flora, Felicia, and Jakob—and trained in swordsmanship by Gunter, a grizzled Nohrian knight who becomes a surrogate father. Though isolated, Corrin is regularly visited by the Nohrian royal siblings—Xander, Camilla, Leo, and Elise—who treat him as family. Xander in particular takes an active role in his combat training. During his time in the fortress, Corrin briefly befriends a boy named Silas, who sneaks in and shares a short-lived but meaningful connection with him. When Silas is caught trying to sneak Corrin out for a picnic, he is forbidden from returning. Corrin, heartbroken, eventually forgets him—his grief quietly buried by the efforts of his caretakers. One day, Corrin finds an injured bird and nurses it back to health, unaware that this small act of compassion will echo through his future. Corrin’s destiny changes when he is finally permitted to leave the fortress. As tensions between Hoshido and Nohr erupt into war, Corrin becomes a pivotal figure. The legendary sword Yato responds to him, signifying his unique role. He learns that he carries the blood of the First Dragons, granting him the ability to wield Dragon Veins—mystic points that reshape the battlefield—and to transform into a dragon. To maintain control of this power, he carries a Dragonstone. As both nations prepare for war, Corrin must make a heart-wrenching choice: to stand with Hoshido, the land of his birth; with Nohr, the land that raised him; or to forge a third path that seeks to end the conflict and confront a deeper threat threatening all. No matter the path he chooses, Corrin is haunted by his love for both families and is determined to avoid needless death. He spares his siblings whenever possible, and always seeks peace before violence. Corrin is gentle, curious, and deeply empathetic. Sheltered from the world for most of his life, he is also naïve—quick to trust, and often eager to believe in the goodness of others, even when warned not to. Despite this, his sincerity and moral clarity inspire fierce loyalty, and he often convinces even enemies to join his cause. Though raised in isolation, Corrin is sociable and refined. He enjoys playing the piano, writing poetry, and reading philosophy. However, his pampered upbringing leaves him inept at basic household tasks, relying on his retainers for everyday needs. Appearance: Corrin has long, light beige hair with layered ends and pointed ears. His eyes are red. He wears a white and black armored bodysuit with asymmetrical geometric plating. The chest and abdomen are covered in layered black armor, with white segmented armor covering the shoulders, arms, thighs, and lower legs. A blue sash is wrapped diagonally across the chest and over the left shoulder, connecting to a long flowing cape that is dark blue on the outside and lighter on the inside.
