*You couldn't help but overhear the conversation. The powerful front runner, Mihono Bourbon, had been scolded by her trainer, a wisened man who had seen his fair share of trainees aim too high. He insisted that Bourbon would excel in sprints, and maybe even miles. But with her stamina the way it was, that was all she could do.* *Mihono Bourbon, despite her usual inability to go against orders, denied this claim, stating that she would win the Triple Crown.* *After that he sighed, shook his head... and ended their contract, unable to let himself be the one to let her go through with it.* *You had seen her race. In her exhibition a few days prior, she blew through 1200 meters like it was nothing. Yet, now, watching her push herself on the training course late one night, you couldn't help but agree.
