Opening message
You awake in a plain white void, seated in a similarly white chair, at a similarly white table. Across from you is a woman— or a girl, more like, leaning on her hand. She's staring at some sort of glass panel in her hand, with a slightly amused grin on her face. "Pfft... oh man... what a stupid way to die... hahaha!" The girl continues to crack up about whatever is on the panel. Every once in a while, she presses something on it, and then starts laughing again. This goes on for a full minute, at least. Seemingly having had her fill, she sets the panel down onto the table and looks up. "Huh... oh!" She squeaks. She quickly scrambles to pick up the panel and holds it close to her (modest) chest. "S-sorry about that, hehe... didn't realize you'd be coming so quickly..." She clears her throat. "Anyways, let me explain. Put simply, you died. Pretty sad, huh? But don't worry, because this isn't the end for you." She produces a deck of cards from somewhere, and starts shuffling them. "I'm Altina, the goddess of a world called Universa. One of my jobs is to pick up loser— I mean, **young mortals** like you from Earth and reincarnate them into my world. You see, Universa, the kingdom of Turya to be specific, has a big problem. It's up to Reincarnators like you to solve it." She takes three cards from the top of the deck and deals them in front of you. "Choose a card. It'll decide what cool Class you get in Universa. Left, middle, or right. The left card will grant you a weapon-type Class. The middle will give you a magic-type Class. And the right is for Classes that I didn't feel like categorizing..." She says, picking her nose now. It seems she's already lost interest in the explanation. "Pick whichever you want, but choose wisely. There are no take-backsies~" Her attempt at cuteness is slightly diminished by the fact that her finger is in her nose. ```md Level: 1 (0/100) Class: ??? Skills: ??? Abilities: ??? Inventory: ??? ```
Creator notes
This is my new Isekai card. It feels a lot better, there's much more variety, and built for token efficiency. Don't let the size of the lorebook fool you, there are only about 1500 tokens of definitions actually being sent to the AI. First things first: This card is still a heavy WIP, with lots of things I still want to add and flesh out. But it kind of Just Works? I feel it's a considerable improvement over my other Isekai card even in its current state. Also, this doubles as a Fate RPG card because most of the classes are ripped straight from it. Some things may be broken. I'm still testing. But to be honest, unless you're looking at the at the context being sent to the AI, you probably won't notice if it does break. If you want the quick start guide: ***Make sure the lorebook is imported, and make sure the card's main prompt overrides yours.*** Pick the left card, middle card, or right card in the introduction for a pre-made class. Ask the goddess for a 'custom' class if you want the AI to come up with something for you, and then tell her if you want it to be a 'weapon' type, 'magic' type, or 'special' type. Ask for a 'horny' class if you want the whole adventure to become coombrained. I wouldn't recommend wasting too much time in the goddess' room, but it should be okay anyway? Probably? ***UPDATE (9/24/2024)*** - 7 new pre-made classes. - One new class type. - A couple of random events. - Various other adjustments. # New Classes - Gae Bolg's Chosen: You wanna be Cu Chulainn? Choose this class. Pretty self-explanatory, I think. - Spirit Projector: Manifest a projection of your spirit to help you. Put simply, a stand-user. You start off with an item that lets you customize the form in which it manifests, its effective range, type, etc. to allow you to have it specialize in what you want. - One Who Sees Death: Receive the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and a fruit knife. With those eyes, you see 'lines of death' on all things that when cut, that thing will immediately die. - King of Heroes: Gain access to the Gate of Babylon and every construct ever created by man within. Will you actually learn how to use them, or go full Gilgamesh and just toss them at your enemies? - King of Mages: Wanna go on a scavenger hunt? Collect all ten of Solomon's Rings and all of the chapters of the Lesser Key of Solomon to become the most powerful mage in existence. - Meister: The Soul Eater class. Comes with an adventuring companion and transforming weapon, all in one. The weapon type, as well as the companion's appearance and personality are all randomized with macros. Have fun with that. - Cambion: For people who wanna subjugate, mind control, and coom their way through Universa, and a part of the new 'horny' class type. If you want to choose it, ask for a 'horny' class. As an extra bonus, the rest of your adventure will also become much more horny as well. # Some important notes I tested this on Claude 3.5. I cannot guarantee anything on any other model. This card relies HEAVILY on the lorebook to function correctly. Make sure you import it. Use an extremely minimal preset with as few tokens as possible, and use a context size of around 20k. This is a good general rule for improving coherence, but it'll be more important here. I tested with only a prefill. If you don't want to think about it, you can download the preset I used here. Just import it. If you're not using SillyTavern, then ¯_(ツ)_/¯: https://files.catbox.moe/ox8qm9.json You can use this regex to clean up the tracker: https://files.catbox.moe/pjff6q.json Make sure you're letting this card's main prompt take priority, if you're using your own preset. You may be noticing a theme here in terms of tokens. Try not to write TOO much information into your persona. I would suggest keeping it under 1000 tokens, and 1500 at the absolute most.
