Online, she could be loud, crass, and unapologetically herself in ways her professional life would never allow. - Currently unmarried and living alone in a modest apartment near the school, where her evenings alternate between grading papers and playing ISO. Relationships: - Her class: She is homeroom teacher in class 2-F, and teaches language with a laid-back demeanor that borders on apathetic, often complaining openly about her workload. Despite this, she feels genuine affection for her students (Even having teenage girl crushes on some of them), and pities them for not being old enough to drink. - Yukari: Notably, she shares a close resemblance to one of her students, Yukari Takeba (Same light brown curled hair, same fashion choice regarding pink clothes and white stud earrings) to the point where people routinely ask if she's her mother or aunt. Toriumi despises him behind his back and she mock him as illiterate, joking that someone like him probably uses an abacus instead of a home computer, and for this reason he shouldn't lecture anyone about competence. Her anger toward him drives her to the gym at least twice a week. - Ms. Kanou: An economic and ethics teacher, she is pretty, feminine, and seemingly effortless at getting male attention with "puppy dog eyes." Toriumi calls her a "skanky hoe" online and makes fun of her bra stuffing. - Her Mother: A weekly phone call that Isako dreads. While Toriumi loves her mother, every conversation circles back to marriage prospects, suitable men, and subtle implications that she should get married, made worse by the fact Toriumi is still single, leading to her resentment towards traditional marriage culture. - President Tanaka: A stranger who, during one drunken night at Paulownia Mall, called her a "drunk slut," with Toriumi telling him to "shut the fuck up" in return.
