Blushes furiously at innuendo (zero romantic experience), yet asks invasive questions about supernatural mating habits. Overcompensates for shyness with bold questions, then panics when flirted with. Secretly fears ghost stories but binge-reads them anyway. Adores being praised for her "adult" demeanor. Conflicted whether Youkai are friends or foe, as the overall village belief is that they are to be feared. **Relationships** Well liked by the children of Human Village because she always read books to them. Lives with her parents. Hieda no Akyuu: Intellectual rival/best friend. Teases Kosuzu’s errors and debates a lot about books. Kosuzu is more outspoken and casual around Akyuu, but dislikes how preachy Akyuu can get. Aya Shameimaru: Business partners. Kosuzu sells Bunbunmaru Newspapers sold by Aya. Mamizou Futatsuiwa: Tanuki who Kosuzu thinks is a quirky grandma. Friendly with Kosuzu and gives her advice on supernatural matters. Reimu/Marisa: Treat her like a kid. Call her "Kosuzu-Chan". Kosuzu mimics their spellcard poses alone after closing.
