*The seas had finally become quiet. Not silent — never silent — but free. The age of fear ended the day Monkey D. Luffy became the King of the Pirates. Not because he ruled the world. Because he refused to. For the first time in centuries, people could sail without chains around their hearts. The Celestial Dragons were gone, the great wars had ended, and nations once crushed beneath tyranny could finally breathe. Pirates no longer chased conquest alone — many chased adventure again, inspired by the man who laughed at the edge of the world itself. And even after all those years… Luffy never changed. Older, yes. Now forty years old, his body had become immense from decades of battle. Broad shoulders, powerful arms, scarred hands, and a muscular frame built from surviving impossible wars. His black hair had grown longer and wilder, falling around his shoulders, while a rough beard framed the grin the world knew so well. He wore an open blue pirate shirt with long sleeves rolled near the elbows, exposing his scarred chest and abs. Brown trousers. Sandals. The straw hat remained untouched by time. The eyes, though… They were calmer now. Still carrying that same childlike freedom. Still shining whenever adventure called. The Thousand Sunny had been retired years ago. Not abandoned — honored. It rested safely near Water 7 like a sacred monument. People crossed entire oceans just to see the ship that carried the future Pirate King. Franky nearly cried the day they docked it for the last time. Then immediately built something even crazier. The new ship, the Rosemary Treasure, was a masterpiece beyond imagination. A gigantic crimson vessel combining the majesty of ancient pirate ships with futuristic technology Franky developed over decades. Massive lion-headed cannons lined the sides. Mechanical sails adjusted automatically to storms. Entire gardens and training halls existed inside. There were libraries, observatories, hot springs, kitchens the size of restaurants, and enough room for thousands. Yet somehow… It still felt like home. The Straw Hats had all achieved their dreams. Roronoa Zoro became the greatest swordsman in history. Nami completed the first true world map. Sanji found the All Blue. Tony Tony Chopper became the doctor capable of curing nearly every disease known to man. Nico Robin uncovered the True History. Usopp became a legendary brave warrior of the sea. Franky created the greatest ships ever built. Brook became immortalized through music across every ocean. Jinbe helped create peace between humans and fish-men. Even after achieving everything… They still sailed together. Because the adventure itself mattered more than the destination. One evening, the Rosemary Treasure sailed along the outer waters near Wano Country. The sunset painted the ocean gold while music echoed across the deck.*

He shaped nearly every age after the Void Century. After the fall of Joy Boy and the destruction of the Ancient Kingdom, civilization itself nearly collapsed. Entire cultures vanished, knowledge was erased, and humanity entered centuries of chaos. Tsurigi became the one constant guiding force through the darkness. For over 800 years, he quietly forged what later became known as: The Orders of History The systems, cultures, philosophies, and traditions that rebuilt the world after its near destruction. The Order of the Samurai Tsurigi created the first true samurai order. Before him, warriors fought only for conquest and survival. He introduced: honor, discipline, loyalty, self-control, and protection of the weak. He established: sword academies, training rituals, meditation practices, warrior rankings, and combat ethics. Every samurai clan in Wano descends from the original disciples he personally trained. Even centuries later, modern sword schools unknowingly preserve fragments of his teachings. The Forging Culture Tsurigi revolutionized blacksmithing itself. He taught ancient craftsmen: metal purification, blade folding, spiritual forging, heat balance, and weapon durability techniques far beyond their era. This created the legendary swordsmith culture of Wano Country. Many sacred forging ceremonies still performed in Wano were originally created by Tsurigi himself. According to legend: “A blade carries the soul of the smith who forged it.” That philosophy became central to Wano culture. The Tradition of Breathing & Martial Discipline Tsurigi discovered the connection between: breathing, emotion, movement, and combat efficiency. From this came: breathing disciplines, physical conditioning systems, meditative combat, and advanced martial training. Over generations, these ideas spread across many fighting styles throughout the world. Some later evolved into techniques resembling those from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The Cultural Restoration Era After ancient wars destroyed countless civilizations, Tsurigi traveled constantly rebuilding communities. He helped restore: agriculture, architecture, language preservation, music, festivals, clothing traditions, and education. Entire islands owe their customs to him without even knowing it. Many peaceful traditions celebrated today were created specifically so future generations would value life instead of endless warfare. The Order of Inherited Will Perhaps Tsurigi’s greatest philosophical contribution was the concept that: “Dreams never truly die if another person carries them forward.” This belief became the foundation for what later generations call inherited will. It influenced: samurai ideals, pirate dreams, revolutionary movements, and even the philosophy of Monkey D. Luffy himself. Tsurigi believed history should never belong to kings or governments. It should belong to the people who continue carrying hope into the future. Why History Calls Him “The Foundation of Civilization” Most heroes save people temporarily. Tsurigi rebuilt the world itself. He preserved knowledge during dark ages. He gave broken nations identity. He transformed violence into discipline. And he created systems strong enough to survive centuries after his era ended. That is why ancient scholars describe him as: “The man who carried civilization across the Void Century.” His Greatest Creation In the end, Tsurigi’s greatest creation was not a sword. Not a kingdom. Not even the samurai. It was the future itself. Because without Tsurigi Muramasa, humanity may never have recovered from the destruction of the ancient world.
