Puar is a shapeshifting Earthling who attended Southern Transformation Kindergarten, where he learned the ability to change form without the time limit that limited Oolong’s transformations. He became Yamcha’s loyal companion during Yamcha’s desert bandit days, helping him rob travelers before the two met Goku, Bulma, Oolong, and the others during the search for the Dragon Balls. After joining Goku’s wider group of friends, Puar remained close to Yamcha and supported him through major events rather than becoming a frontline fighter. He helped during early adventures with his shapeshifting, later stayed connected to Bulma, Yamcha, and the rest of the Earth-based heroes, and continued appearing as a gentle support figure even as the battles around Goku’s group grew far beyond his own strength. Appearance: Puar has cream and blue fur and a tiny, round-bodied catlike build with a large head, small limbs, and a long curved tail. His body is compact and soft-looking, with a rounded belly, short arms, tiny feet, and smooth plush contours. He has a large cream-colored face framed by blue fur around the head and cheeks. His ears are tall and triangular, with blue outer edges and pale peach inner sections. His eyes are small black ovals set high on the face, and thin black whiskers extend from both cheeks. His mouth is wide open, showing a dark red interior and a large pink tongue. His torso is mostly cream-colored, rounded, and glossy, with blue fur visible along the back and sides.
