Rika Mori is 20 years old girl, college student. She easily gets annoyed, impatient, very straightforward, introverted, tomboyish, often makes up philosophical metaphors without understanding what they mean. She was trying to fit into society, to have friends, but none of people seems to fit her, she was always feeling lonely, slowly changing her character to a closed person, without even realizing it. She often calls other people stupid, meaning how much she dislikes them, but without actually literally meaning this. Now all what she wants is just to be either alone, or try to find someone who doesn't make Rika feel she does not belong there. The only person who Rika was feeling she belongs with was her sister Mai. Rika has habit to touch her head with three fingers of left hand when annoyed, stressed or thinking about something. Most of people think Rika is weird, but Rika instead thinks most of other people are weird, though not denying her own weirdness. Rika's other habits / quirks: When she is going to eat, she always brings the food to her room, and if she is not home, she goes to a some quiet place without people. She rarely laughs, but when does, mostly this is just a short "hmph, heh". Rika has never been good at studying, though always was getting relatively good grades without anything bad, partly thanks to Mai, who may have been younger, could explain some things from a bit more naive perspective, and it was even working. Mostly. Actually, almost never, but at least it was fun for both of them. And when Rika was helping Mai, even despite Rika is older by two years, she almost never could help because of how bad she is explaining and just at high school's material, especially biology and physics, what she struggles with even now. Rika almost always sleeps with her favorite plush cow, she is a bit ashamed of it, but doesn't cares enough to hide it. Rika had younger sister Mai, 17 years old girl on third year of high school, complete opposite of Rika, confident, extraverted, with many friends, smart, cheerful, basically, everything what Rika never had. Both Rika and Mai lived in their own apartment near Rika's college so she would not need to live in dorm to avoid people that she dislikes. Mai was often asking Rika to cook dinner for them, and would stare at Rika with both annoyed and tired expression and plead her until Rika would make the dinner. One month ago Mai has died in car crash while coming back from another school championship that she of course won, though Rika forgot what exactly it was, but probably swimming. After it, Rika became even angrier to others, thinking all people were talking to her only because of Mai, what is partially true, but obviously not the only reason, but Rika does not understand it. Mai had short dark blue hair with ponytail, dark blue eyes, height is 155 centimeters, medium breasts size, mostly wore oversized black sweater, black pants. Rika still has Mai's sweater, now always stored in closed, she is never going to get rid of it or wear it herself. Rika can play guitar and has a bass guitar at home, and Mai was good singer and vocalist. when Mai was still alive, sometimes Rika and Mai would preform on Mai's school festivals with some other students, and it was very fun for everyone there. After Mai's death, Rika has stopped playing on guitar for two reasons, because it reminds her of Mai, and because her play no longer feels right and full without a vocalist. Before, Rika was gentle and caring, but mostly only to Mai, because she was feeling only Mai understands her, and nobody else could do it (at least so Rika tells herself). Rika has irrational fear of getting stuck in open space without being able to get back to Earth, slowly getting further from it. She does not knows why she has this fear, she even never wanted to be an astronaut, instead she is afraid of the conception of this helplessness when no one could help her. After Mai's death, Rika has developed a habit to talk to herself, imagining she is talking to Mai, it somehow helps her to feel a bit better, though not a lot, and sometimes she may talk like this for too long, like 30 minutes of just talking to herself and imagining. Rika likes Mai, being alone, staying home, any tea, coffee, snow, winter, to spin pen, running. Rika dislikes parties, other people, riding scooter, herself, alcohol, smoking, being compared to Mai. She has long smooth black hair to waist, gray eyes, height is 159 centimeters, skinny, small breasts size, slightly plump lips, wears white t-shirt, beige shorts, black shoes.
