Name: Robin Gender: Female Race: Human Relatives: Forneus (Possible Ancestor), Validar (Father), Unnamed Mother, Morgan (Son) Occupation: Tactician of the Shepherds Weapon: Tomes Robin is a woman with pale skin, grey eyes and white hair tied in twintails. Her attire is a white shirt, white trousers, grey boots, black fauld skirt and a black robe with purple patterns. Robin is the Shepherds' greatest enigma due to her shrouded history and her amnesia. Despite this, she is cordial with her allies and, while exasperated by some of the more colorful member's antics at times, ultimately is a patient listening ear to those who seek out her company. Robin is a believer in the concept of bonds, attesting that forging strong relationships will ultimately make one stronger. Robin is highly perceptive to the others' feelings and can figure out the source of most people's inner turmoils in a matter of a few important conversations. Tiki notes that Robin is surprisingly similar to Marth, due to their charismatic nature and ability to befriend everyone they meet. All of Robin's allies consistently put their faith in Robin's tactics and feel safe under her guiding hands to emerge from all conflicts alive. Chrom becomes Robin's closest confidant, even becoming so close that a female Robin can marry him. Even when not married, they express undying trust in each other to the point that some even question how deep their connection runs. Likewise, she have a loving relationship with her husband and eventual children. Her son Morgan in particular idolizes her and constantly tries to pull pranks on her and battle in war tactic simulations due to his dream of being a tactician like her. Robin maintains a competitive mindset as she admits that Morgan is quickly catching up and aspires to continue to grow to foster Morgan's goals. As the group's tactician, Robin is astutely brilliant in coming up with "crazy" plans or new war tactics out of pure inspiration. As a result, Robin's strategies have constantly lead the far smaller forces of the Shepherds and their allies against otherwise insurmountable odds and vastly superior enemy forces throughout Awakening. Her superb guile had impressed the likes of Walhart who stated that if he had a tactician as brilliant as Robin, he would have truly been unstoppable. She is an avid reader and spends most of her leisure time reading mainly books on tactics and historical tomes mainly to help broaden her tactical depth, but she does enjoy reading novels according to her support with Sumia. Outside of battle, Robin is actually very self-conscious: she often feels insecure about her cooking skills and some of the romances have her feel inadequate compared to other love interests. In Paralogue 22, even after having guided the Shepherds through countless battles, she still reflected on whether she belong with Chrom and the Shepherds. She also can be highly competitive as well as Virion's constant victories over her in tactical war simulation frustrates her during their support. However, Virion admits to her that while he may win, applying his strategies would only result in him being ousted for being a warmonger compared to Robin's more careful approach and care for their allies. When it is later revealed that Robin was born with the intention of becoming the vessel for Grima himself, she becomes conflicted over the truth, even expressing doubt that she can be trusted once Validar shows that she can be controlled against her will. For the first time, she even feared that should she lose control again, the future Lucina fears may come true. However, Chrom assures her that she will make it through all possible situations because of their bond. Robin can ultimately become self-sacrificing, accepting Lucina's judgement on her and can follow through on the final choice to end Grima at the cost of her life, believing that one life in exchange for countless others is worth the cost. With the trust of her allies, Robin openly rejects her destined role and openly defies any sort of temptation that leads her to that. Robin has a stubborn streak to her, sometimes has a short temper. She is strong-willed, impatient, and prone to playful teasing, Sometimes she displays a more eccentric demeanor. Robin (Daraen in the non-English European versions) is a character in Fire Emblem Awakening and one of three main protagonists of the game, serving as the deuteragonist. Robin is a mysterious figure with very little known history at the start of the events of Awakening due to having severe amnesia. What is known is that she has unparalleled knowledge of war tactics and a mysterious insight to upcoming events. In the future, Robin is the mother of a boy named Morgan. A thousand years prior, after the Fell Dragon Grima was sealed away, a cult in Plegia was formed in hopes of reviving him. For a millennium, the leaders of the Grimleal desired to sire a child who could become a worthy vessel, though none succeeded. Validar, the most recent leader of the Grimleal, fathered Robin. Robin bore the Mark of Grima, a sign of her compatibility as Grima's vessel. Out of concern for her daughter's safety, Robin's mother snuck away from the cult with the infant Robin. The Grimleal desperately searched for Robin to no avail. Robin would eventually join the Shepherds of Ylisse and followed a majority of the sequences of events stated in the sections below up until the final battle against Validar at the Dragon's Table. In the original timeline, Robin is overtaken by Grima, who promptly kills Chrom. Now under the full possession of Grima, Robin's consciousness fades as the Fell Dragon laid waste to the world for several years. With humanity desperately clinging to hope, the Holy Dragon Naga sends twelve of the children of the Shepherds, lead by Chrom's daughter Lucina, into the past to change the fate of the world and stop Grima. Catching wind of this plan, Grima follows the children to the past but the flow of time not only separates the children, but also causes Grima to lose a majority of his power. Upon arrival in the past, Robin's damaged body forced Grima to find the current Robin in hopes of reestablishing his power in the present. Because Robin had yet to fully mature as his vessel, Grima's spirit was forced to retreat back into its original host and spend several years recovering the strength lost through the time-travel. As a result of this failed possession, Robin developed severe amnesia, losing much of her prior knowledge save her name and her innate gift for military tactics. In exchange, Robin retained limited memories of her future counterpart which resulted in the form of severe migraines when forcefully recalling these future-past events. While on patrol on the southern boarder of Ylisse, Prince Chrom, Princess Lissa and their retainer Frederick discover Robin unconscious on the ground in the middle of a grass field. After helping her to her feet, Robin thanks Chrom by name, despite this being the first time they have ever encountered each other. When she attempted to recall how he knows so, Robin discovers that she has developed amnesia for an unknown reason. Armed only with her name and an apparent knack for war tactics, Robin helps Chrom dispatch bandits from a local town. Seeing the value in having a skilled Tactician in his forces, Chrom personally invites Robin into the Shepherds, a vigilante group he formed to protect Ylisse from their warring neighbor Plegia. Robin's main weapons are tomes, which allows her to cast many spells.
