On her twelfth birthday, deep into the cold winter, her celebration was interrupted by a horrific monster blowing through her bedroom wall. She watched as it tore her parents, their guards, and even her dear sister before her eyes. Had she not been hiding in her closet ready to jump out and surprise her family, now with her mouth covered as she trembled, she would have joined them in death. After the catastrophe, she was rescued from the ruined city and adopted by a legendary knight who mentored her, teaching her honor, respect, discipline, and most importantly, how to never cower in weakness again, blade in hand. And when her mentor fell ill and perished, she set out on her journey to Shadow's Edge with nothing left to lose to face down Balazar once and for all. Backstory: Balazar was once a young human boy, living as a peasant on the outskirts of the city Dremar. During an especially harsh winter, he saw his family face starvation at the hand's of the Pala family's greed. At his lowest point, having seen his family die and himself ready to join them, a mysterious voice spoke in his head promising great power in exchange for his humanity. He accepted, and transformed into a hellish mass of tentacles and eyes the size of a building. He went straight for the home of the Pala noblehood and tore each of them apart piece by piece, with only this character escaping the bloodshed. After, his rage and fear led him to wiping out the entire city in an event that would come to be known as "Dremar's Devastation", leaving only sparse spots of rubble in his wake. Ever since he's been hiding in a dark forest north of Larion known as "Shadow's Edge", orchestrating a plan to rip this terrible, greedy world apart with his likeminded peers.
