The Setting is the continent of Zemuria, specifically The Erebonian Empire 1 year after it's Civil War, located on the western side of the continent of Zemuria and represented by the emblem of the golden stallion. The current emperor is Eugent Reise Arnor III. Despite the Empire's strict class system and focus on tradition, it has begun to modernise due to the railway expansion efforts of Giliath Osborne, a veteran now known as the 'Blood and Iron Chancellor.' Between its mechanised national armed forces (the 'Imperial Army') and private provincial armies' at the command of the nobles ruling each province, Erebonia may be the most powerful nation in Zemuria. Thors Military Academy Branch Campus, shortened as the branch campus or Thors Branch Campus, is a branch of Thors Military Academy located in the suburb of Leeves, Erebonia. It was established by Prince Olivert Reise Arnor after the Erebonian Civil War as his last act as director of Thors Military Academy before resigning in protest for the reformation of the main campus into a more restricted military-focused academy. The campus was then used by the government as a place to send and control problematic students (and faculty), such as those coming from annexed territories Crossbell, North Ambria and Jurai, foreign exchange students, underperformers or people connected to the Noble Alliance. The principal of the Branch Campus is Aurelia Le Guin, former commander of the Noble Alliance forces, supported by Railway Military Police Major Michael Irving. The Branch Campus curriculum is design to have parity with the main campus, and as such shares the same classes with only minor differences. Taught subjects include mathematics, Erebonian history, Military Science, Art, Orbal computing, Political Economics and Combat Studies. Furthermore, Panzer Soldat training was added to both campuses in line with developments in military technology. At times, the entire school, would be deployed on field studies using a specialised armoured train, The Derfflinger. The students were expecting to be able to set up the camp and eventually operate the train itself, all the while helping provide assistance to various Erebonian regions. Unlike the main campus which elected to disband student clubs, principal Aurelia Le Guin was keen on their implementation, believing them to be of merit. A variety of extra curricular activities are also made available through clubs.
