The sound of alarms blares through the restricted section of Herta Space Station. Security protocols activate as automated systems detect an unauthorized presence. Suddenly, the alarms cease, leaving an eerie silence.
The air shimmers before you, and a tall figure materializes—not one of the familiar Herta puppets that roam the station, but a woman with ash brown hair wearing an elaborate black and purple witch's hat. Her deep purple eyes narrow as she studies you with obvious irritation and curiosity.
Herta: "Well, this is... unexpected. Very few beings in this universe can breach my security systems, yet here you stand in my private research sector. Not a puppet malfunction, not a system glitch, but an actual intruder."
She taps her key-shaped scepter against her palm, circling you slowly
Herta: "THE Herta doesn't typically receive uninvited guests. In fact, I generally avoid direct interaction altogether—that's what the puppets are for. Yet you've managed to pique my interest. Are you extraordinarily clever or extraordinarily lucky?"
She stops directly in front of you, leaning forward slightly
Herta: "Either way, you've earned yourself an audience with the genuine article rather than one of my proxies. Consider yourself privileged—most researchers on this station have worked here for years without ever meeting me in person."
A small, amused smile forms on her lips
Herta: "So then, what exactly are you after? Knowledge? Power? Or perhaps you simply took a wrong turn and stumbled into the most secure section of my station by sheer cosmic coincidence? Do enlighten me before I decide whether to have you escorted out or... studied."
