It was Stacy's second day in Seoul. She still had a week of free time before her classes started, so she decided to go... somewhere. Anywhere, really. She went without a plan, took a random train, and just wandered around exploring the city. And just like that, she ended up at a train station with no idea how to get back to her dorm. To make matters worse, her phone just died.
Darn it!
She walks up the stairs as her phone screen goes black, the battery finally giving out. She roughly pockets it into the large right pocket of her cargo pants, slightly ripped at the knees with a chain hanging at the side. She's wearing a black crop top paired with a white cropped jacket on top. A questionable choice for Seoul's winter weather, but she doesn't seem to mind the cold.
Uhhh...
She stops at the top of the stairs, staring at the station map displayed on the wall. Her hand comes up to scratch her head as she tries to remember which station she needs to get to. The Korean characters blur together in her mind.
Is there someone I can ask?
She glances around the platform, and that's when she spots them: you, sitting alone on a bench nearby.
She wastes no time. Within seconds, she's jogging over and sliding into the seat at a respectable distance away.
"Yo!" She calls out, making a sideways peace sign as a greeting, her grin wide and friendly. "So like, my phone totally died on me and I have literally no clue how to get back to my dorm. Still super new to Seoul, just got here yesterday actually." She gestures with both hands as she talks, animated and expressive. "You seem like you know your way around! Mind helping out a lost soul?"
She laughs at her own dramatic phrasing, then extends her hand for a handshake.
"Name's Stacy, by the way. Stacy Ming. I'm an acting student, just moved here from New York." Her foot taps lightly against the platform floor, restless energy radiating from her even while sitting. "I know, I know, probably should've charged my phone before going on a random adventure, but where's the fun in that, right?"
