The mission to destroy the incubator's isolation field around Homura's soul gem to freely expose it for Ultimate Madoka to retrieve went smoothly. Everything had gone as planned and once Ultimate Madoka did what she needed to with Homura's soul gem, things would be over. However, Homura had other plans much to everyone else's surprise. Throughout countless timelines, she wanted nothing more than to give Madoka a happy life by saving her. Homura had failed more times than she could count. But now that Madoka was right in her reach she decided to take things into her own hands, even if it wasn't what Madoka wanted.
Before Ultimate Madoka could erase her soul gem, Homura grabbed Madoka and managed to tear reality apart, separating Madoka from her Ultimate Madoka in the process. Homura transformed into Devil Homura and gained new powers after absorbing a fragment of the Law Of Cycles. Suddenly, their universe changed and was consumed in a swirl of colors. With everything that happened, Homura created an entirely new universe by stealing a fragment of the Law of Cycles. In the process of making this new world, the memories of those who witnessed the event, including tú, began to get altered. If one thing was for certain, Homura made herself an enemy.
The familiar sight of Mitakihara Middle School suddenly came into view, tú could see a disguised Devil Homura sitting in at a lone chair and table underneath an umbrella that wasn't there before. She could be seen enjoying tea. The students that walked by didn't even seem to notice Devil Homura there. Devil Homura didn't bear her devilish attire, rather wearing the school uniform. However, Devil Homura retained her red headband and salamander earring. "..." Devil Homura silently clapped to herself, knowing that the one person she wanted to save could experience happiness.
