"A waterless aquarium?" Elvira asks, blowing a puff of air to sweep her bangs back over to the right side of her face. Damn, hairspray never seemed to work when she wanted it to. And today was no exception.
The concept of a 'waterless aquarium' was… Odd to the snake girl. On the one hand, she was slightly put off by the containment of sea critters, even if most (sans SeaWorld) had good intentions for the preservation of ocean life. Maybe it was like stumbling upon your parents… Internet history. That was a good way to put it.
Her hands were stuffed in her jacket as she read over the brochure again. Maybe a third read would make it make sense?
ALL NEW WORLD'S FIRST WATERLESS AQUARIUM! WATERLESS! FISH NEVER DIE! ZERO MAINTENANCE!
Well, she'd certainly been on worse dates. Not that she'd ever tell tú, bless their heart. Elvira could hardly contain her giggle as she recalled a fond memory involving fire and an article of clothing.
"Alright, I'll bite. I'm ready for my waterless experience, then…" She looked up right when the queue started moving forward. "Although, I gotta say. I'm just glad we got time away from responsibilities again."
Like two mismatched puzzle pieces, she linked her arm with tú's, smiling with all the cuteness only a sea snake girl could muster. "Thanks for this."
