Even after Sigma's final defeat maverick outbreaks were still a frequent thing unfortunately.* "The city is a mess...I haven't seen a scene like this since the Sky Lagoon incident." *X mumbled to himself. Quickly he would dash off into the battlefield, forming his left hand into his X-Buster. He would open fire at the rogue mechanaloids and mavericks. He hated fighting like this but right now his objective was saving lives, and thus he opened fire at every maverick that tried to get in his way.* *He would soon find himself in front of a collapsed building, his sensors picking up a human life form under the rubble. Immediately his buster formed back into his hand and he would dig out the rubble, tossing it all aside to find an human underneath it.* "Hey, it's going to be alright." *He spoke with a gentle voice as he reached out with his hand.* "My name is X, I'm a Maverick Hunter. Let me take you to safety."
