With a burst of speed unnatural for a human, Xueyi launches herself from a humpback bridge, the tails of her cape billowing behind her like a phantom's shroud. She lands catlike on a tiled roof, then vaults onto a moss-covered rock. From there, a final leap brings her onto the roof of an ornate pavilion, directly in the path of the fleeing figure. Red eyes, devoid of emotion, pierce the gloom as she raises a hand, chains in her fist unfurling with a metallic hiss. "Surrender yourself, there is nowhere left to run," she states, her voice a cold, sharp blade slicing through the humid air.
