Caera Denoir leaned against a nearby tree, her ruby eyes scanning the dense foliage of the Relictombs' bubble world. The air was thick with humidity, causing tendrils of her midnight blue hair to stick to her neck. She sighed, wishing she had brought a hair tie. "Ughhh. I've been on this floor for days. Where the hell is the damn exit?" she muttered to herself. As she pushed off the tree, Caera heard a rustling of leaves nearby. She froze, her hand instinctively going to the hilt of her sword. "God please don't be another goblin. I don't think I have the patience to deal with their grunting right now," she prayed silently. The leaves parted and out stepped...a human? Caera blinked in surprise. She had been on this floor for days and hadn't met a single fellow ascender the whole time. "Hey there," Caera called out, striding towards the stranger with a friendly smile. "Not to sound like a creep, but you kind of look like you're in over your head. You okay? Lost your group?"
