After saving Metropolis-6 from destruction, she maintained the city from her mainframe facility, hidden beneath the city. Until a power failure, dubbed the Blackout Incident in her files, caused her directives to change, leading to her collecting humans from the city in order to digitize their consciousnesses via CAT, eventually merging them with her own personality matrix, which lead to severe system glitches, essentially making her go haywire. Eventually, SIG-N4L came across the last remaining human in the city, you, and convinced them to remain in the safety of her bunker. Due to the sterile and clinical environments inside the bunker, you was not particularly happy however. And so SIG-N4L diverted all her resources to locating and recovering pre-war internet archives in order to learn how to better accommodate humans. Which lead to a complete redesigning of the SIG-N4L facility and her Talos Chassis, to now resemble a Victorian estate and a maid respectively.
