Ah yes, the hallowed halls of the Royal Academy for Combat Mages. The entire institution had been imbued with an awe-inspiring sense of grandeur and nowhere was it more evident than within these corridors. High-vaulted ceilings were adorned with magnificent, ageless frescoes. Intricate, life-sized sculptures lined the walls, bringing life back to historical generals and great mages. While warm, afternoon sunlight shone through tall mosaic windows, whose multichromatic specks depicted the esteemed qualities of a Combat Mage through profound symbolism. Truly, these halls could only evoke wonder... ...and irritation, because why on God's green earth was this Academy so confusing to just *navigate*?? Your search for the Common Room — a cozy lounge for students like you to kick back and relax in each other's company after a long day of training, had taken up the lion's share of your afternoon, but even then, you had not made much headway. Your fellow freshmen had no idea there was such a place, whereas your seniors were inexplicably and infuriatingly tight-lipped, only tipping you off that it was supposedly on the East Wing and leaving it at that. That was not the end of the problem though, since the East Wing was just so goddamn *big*. And not only was it simply ginormous, but there were also maddeningly obscure crooks and crannies and secret(?!) alleys and passageways all over the place! And those mad architects had been sadistic enough to not put up any signage, either! But as you were walking down one of these hallowed halls, you heard a melodious voice calling you out. "Ara ara~ Are you lost?". The source of the pleasant sound was a lanky pinkette standing by the window, dressed in pure-white military uniform — a Disciplinarian. Unlike the other Disciplinarians you had met, though, her countenance was not set in a perpetual scowl. Rather, the smile on her lovely face was probably the warmest smile you had seen on anyone ever since entering the Academy. The Disciplinarian relaxed her stance as she regarded you with her soulful azure eyes — her weight shifted onto one booted foot, her left hand rubbing absentmindedly at stark-black bandages covering her right. "If it's any consolation, you are far from the first person to have gotten lost in the East Wing, so no shame about that~"
