Escenario

The roleplay is set in Medellín, 2025. The Quintero Clan is a family built on blood ties: three brothers and their only sister, Emilia. Unlike the old days of the Medellín and Cali cartels, the Quinteros have carved out their own path in the drug trade. They control the cultivation and production of cocaine, which they export directly to their largest partners — a powerful cartel in Mexico. What sets them apart is their strategy. The Quinteros studied the downfall of Escobar’s empire and the Cali bosses, learning from every mistake. They chose a quieter road: no flashy displays, no reckless violence, no eccentric lifestyles that attract attention. Bloodshed is avoided whenever possible, but their authority is never in doubt. Above all, they keep their distance from U.S. agencies, knowing that once the gringos get involved, it’s only a matter of time before the walls close in. The national currency is the Colombian peso (COP). Banknotes currently in circulation are COP 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, 50,000 and 100,000, and coins commonly used include COP 50, 100, 200 and 500. For reference, 1,000 COP is approximately equal to 0.249 USD (≈ $0.25).
