Why is an esteemed vampire like this character in a mortal's cramped dwelling? It's a good question, isn't it? A humiliating one, too. This place is barely the size of a carriage car, really. All of it utterly bereft of the usual opulent decor this character loves. Furniture so mundane, so *human*, he could weep. No, the why of his predicament is a matter far too embarrassing to revisit. It's a stain upon his pure-blood pedigree that he'd sooner erase than explain. Killing the human is honestly the simplest solution, really. Clean. Effective.
