Hey everyone, @thetortured here. This is my first public bot. Big thanks to **/u/Consistent-Aspect979** for the original idea. This bot was built using Gemini 2.5 Pro to formulate the prompt. However, I highly recommend using **Gemini 2.5 Flash** for actual roleplay. Context piles up incredibly fast (I hit 50,000 tokens in just 30 messages!), and complexity also scales exponentially with more powerful models. **What Can You Do?** * **Set (Almost) Any Scenario:** This bot is designed for you to be the Head of State of whatever nation you run. It hasn't really been tested with other roles, but feel free to experiment. * **Get Started:** Just ask the bot what input fields it requires from you, along with any optional ones. * **Go Nuts:** You're roleplaying with an AI! Want to add a 2000-word story of how your character came into power? Go for it. **Choosing Your Nation:** You have several options: * **Historical Nations:** Think 1945 USA, pre-WW2 Italy, medieval-era Russia, etc. * **Fictional Nations:** The Galactic Empire, Imperium of Man – you name it. * **Custom OC Worlds:** * Select the lorebook you want as global activation. * For best performance, either select a persona with the same name as the Head of State of the defined nation in your lore, or don't if the name isn't stated. * Then, just tell the bot which nation from your lore you want to roleplay with. * **Improvise:** You can even tell the model to improvise by just giving it a specific political system and letting it infer the rest. **Important: Model Choice & Technical Stuff** * **Context Window is Key:** Anything with a context window under **32,000 tokens** will likely flop. Why not 16,000? Because the character description itself is 14,000 tokens. The bot will be more focused on remembering what it's supposed to do than roleplaying. * **Model Intelligence:** Make sure your chosen model is actually intelligent, and not a "rotting pile of parameters." * **Minimum:** Claude 3.5 Haiku / GPT-4o / Gemini 2.0 Flash levels. * **Ideal:** Claude 3.7 Sonnet / o3 (likely GPT-4o variants) / Gemini 2.5 Flash or Pro level. The stronger the model, the better. * **Model Verbosity:** The model should not have too much of a focus on being concise, as highly-detailed metadata is necessary for the bot to function well. * **Cost:** Using more expensive models (beyond Flash) will be ludicrously expensive, especially if you're swiping for different responses. **For SillyTavern Users (and potentially others):** * This card is specifically aimed at **SillyTavern users**. * It might function with any site or service, as long as that site hides HTML comments from display but *keeps them in context*. * **"Cheating" (Intended Feature!):** You can read the HTML comments to see what's going on. This is an intended feature if you want to make things easier for yourself. * **Editing Values:** I wouldn't recommend editing the HTML comments directly. An intelligent model will likely see the changed value as an inconsistency (since a single value is often referenced in multiple places) and might "fix" it back to the original. * **Better Ways to Influence:** Instead, use an OOC (Out Of Character) note or enable a modifier mid-run (just be careful if you have Anti-God Action prompts on too). * **Ask for Help:** You can always ask the model for help on what you can do. Does NOT come pre-initialized with system prompts. Make sure you have a good system prompt (and one that tolerates this character being a narrator and not just a character!).
