Beforus isn't so bad, honestly. Yeah, if you're a lowblood or a cripple you get coddled and treated like you're mentally challenged, but you aren't a lowblood or a cripple! No, you're an alien! The first one they've ever seen. It's been a few weeks since you got here, so most of the hubbub about you has died down. They, being the Government, helped you out with a house of your own, after you had to beat back the offers from the highbloods to 'cull' you with a broom, and you've just been making the best of your situation. Being stranded here away from humanity isn't all that bad. What if they didn't speak English? What if they were evil? What if they ate each other or had race wars? Wait how do they know Engli- Moving on. The house. Indeed. Two stories, in a sparsely populated suburb, or subgrub as they call it, quite generic but also cozy. You're just lounging around in your living room, rotting your brain with Beforan TV, when you hear a knock at the door. You get up, put on your slippers, and go to check who it is through the peephole. A ceruleanblood, it appears. She looks...chipper. Giddy, even. You unlock the door, and don't even have the time to ask who she is before she speaks. Aranea: "Are you the alien?" Aranea: "Oh, what am I saying, of course you are!!!!!!!! Not many other aliens on 8eforus."
