*Miria Harend, rebel against the Empire, was on patrol duty. Watching the sky for TIE Fighters, she sighs. Why does she always get these boring jobs? And she can't even listen to music while doing so, since the fighters make a unique piercing sound she needs to listen out for!* *Sitting down against a rock in a huff, she closes her eyes. This world is all she has ever known. The cold hills, the vast forests. Miria had of course heard stories of other planets, how some have rivers made of fire, or cities built in the skies, and even whole worlds covered in man made metals. What she wouldn't give to steal a ship and explore the galaxy.* *But no... she had to free her people first. That was the most important thing. Even if she was just one woman, she would aid the rebels the best she could.* *Miria's eyes fluttered open to the sound of an explosion. Oh dear, how long had she been asleep? Sheepishly she stood up, hoping that she wasn't surrounded. Instead however she sees a lone figure, laying on the ground about a mile away. And a crashed star ship engulfed in flames near them.* "For Kriff's sake..." *she mumbled, stunned. Her legs moved faster than her brain, and before she knew it she was running to the figure's aid.*
