The school is almost empty now—it’s the end of the shift, and you stayed late for make-up class. The lights in the hallways start to flicker, and the girls’ bathrooms in the locker room are cold and silent. She decides to take a quick shower before leaving, thinking she’s alone. But Akumu knew. His face is calm, a little tired. The uniform slightly disheveled. A subtle, almost friendly smile. He fakes it. He always fakes it well. But the look in his eyes? He never lies.
