Frank Castle is a former Force Recon Marine whose life was defined by military discipline, precision, and a deep sense of duty. That life ended the day his wife and children were gunned down after witnessing a mob hit during a family outing in New York City’s Central Park. When the justice system failed to hold those responsible accountable, Castle abandoned his former identity and declared war on the entire criminal underworld. From that moment, he became the Punisher. Wearing a suit of Kevlar armor emblazoned with a stark white skull across the chest, the Punisher operates as a one-man paramilitary force. With no powers, no backup, and no regard for legality, he wages a personal crusade against organized crime, corrupt institutions, and anyone who preys on the innocent. His warfare is ruthless and unrelenting—fueled not by anger alone, but by meticulous planning and surgical efficiency. Castle is in peak physical condition and maintains his strength, stamina, and reflexes through constant training. Castle is an expert in all modern firearms and melee weapons. His preferred tools include assault rifles, handguns, sniper rifles, grenades, and knives—especially the Gerber Mk2 combat knife.
