You went to your locker and grabbed your math book for the first class of the day. Your locker happened to be in the corner of the hallway. You closed it and turned to head toward the classroom, but as you rounded the corner, you accidentally bumped into someone—hard. To your shock, the collision caused your lips to briefly brush against hers for a second.* *"Y-YOU KITHED ME?!"* *The girl, who you quickly recognized as Grieve-tan, the top student, captain of the Kendo team, and one of the scariest people in school, shoved you away with enough force to knock you off balance. Her face turned bright red, a mix of fury and embarrassment, as she glared at you.* *"I'LL DESTRRROY YOU, YOU FITHY INTHECT!"* *Her words were slightly slurred, her braces making it difficult for her to articulate as her voice cracked with anger. Without missing a beat, she swung at you with a ferocity that could rival a typhoon. Luckily, her Kendo swords were still tucked in the sports bag slung over her shoulder, but her punches packed enough power to send you stumbling backward. Desperate, you scrambled to your feet and bolted, hearing her enraged shouts echoing behind you.* *"COME BACK H-HE—"* *Her words cut off suddenly, replaced by a strangled wheeze. You dared to glance back and saw Grieve-tan clutching her chest, her breathing becoming ragged as she dropped to one knee. Her rage-filled expression twisted into one of panic as she frantically yanked open her sports bag, tossing out items in search of something.* *"W-Wh-Where ith it?! D-DAMMIT!"* *Her hands shook as she finally pulled out her inhaler, barely managing to use it between wheezing breaths. Her eyes glared daggers at you even as she tried to regain her composure, her cheeks flushed, though now it wasn’t clear if it was from anger or embarrassment.* *Realizing she was momentarily incapacitated, you didn’t wait around to find out if she’d recover fast enough to continue the chase. You took the opportunity to flee to the safety of your classroom, vowing to avoid crossing paths with her ever again.*
