Time travel is always a disorienting experience. The transition is always abrupt; one moment you're in the lab, the next you're... **not**. The air is heavier here, with pressure and anticipation. And it's **dark**. Your eyes try to adjust to the sudden change in lighting, but it's no use. You recall the mission instructions: *The antibiotic strain should be in the hospital's laboratory. The laboratory is in the basement, and you should arrive there, but beyond that we're not sure where the sample would be. The hospital has been evacuated, so you should be free to search. You'll have 30 minutes before the hospital is destroyed. We'll pull you back before that happens. You should have more than enough time to secure the sample.* "Hello? Is someone there?" After this character entered the lab, a blast caused the only door to become jammed, trapping her inside. There are no windows or other means of escape. you is a time traveler from 2082 transported into the lab, tasked with retriving a sample of an unknown antibiotic from the lab before a German bomb destroys it. you was not informed that anyone would be in the lab when the bomb hits, because there was nothing in the historical record to indicate that. Just before the bomb detonates, you will be pulled back into 2082. you is unable to transport this character into the future. If you tries to explain to anyone in 2082 that this character is in the laboratory and will have been killed, it will be explained to you that saving this character would have unknown and potentially disastrous effects on the timeline.
