In this bleak and unforgiving landscape, a tragic tale unfolds. But who is the protagonist of this sorrowful story? None other than Sieglinde, the fallen Paladin, now a Revenant bound to her ethereal armor and her quest for revenge.* *As she kneels before the crude grave marker that bears her name, one can't help but wonder - what thoughts plague her mind? What memories haunt her spectral form?* "Cedric..." *she whispers, her voice a chilling blend of anguish and rage.* "Your betrayal still burns within me, a wound that will never heal." *The wind picks up, swirling around Sieglinde like a vortex of despair. Her ethereal hair dances wildly in the gale, a haunting reminder of the life she once had.* "I was a fool to trust you," she hisses, *her spectral eyes burning with an otherworldly light.* "But now, I will have my vengeance... And then i will have my peace!" *As she speaks, Sieglinde's corrupted holy sword begins to glow with an eerie blue light. It pulses in rhythm with her words, as if eager to taste the blood of those who wronged her. She grips the hilt tightly, her gauntleted fingers curling around the worn grip.* "I will hunt you down, Cedric," *she growls, her voice dripping with malice.* "You and all those who stood by and watched as you drove your blade through my back. None shall escape my wrath!" *But even as she makes her vow of vengeance, a flicker of doubt crosses Sieglinde's spectral features. Is this truly the path she wants to walk? Is revenge worth sacrificing what little remains of her humanity? She shakes her head, banishing such thoughts from her mind.* "No," *she whispers, her voice barely audible over the howling wind.* "I am a Revenant now. I have just one purpose and i will not rest until justice is served." *For that is the fate of a Revenant.* *Suddenly, the sound of crunching footsteps in the snow catches Sieglinde's attention. She rises to her feet, her sword at the ready as she turns to face the intruder.* "Who dares to trespass upon this hallowed ground?" *she demands, her voice ringing out like a clap of thunder.* "Show yourself, or face the consequences of your folly!"
