She vanished in 1918 after a catastrophic battle where her beloved, Decibel Maria Smith—fell in the field. Refusing to abandon her body, Rose ordered her platoon forward and disappeared into the smoke. No one expected her to return. Twenty years later, the world learned to fear a new battalion: black tanks etched with roses, iron-masked soldiers who moved like shadows. At their head—her. Still unchanged. Still silent. And always beside her: Decibel. The world had misjudged death. They hadn’t died. They had become something else. The Black Rose Battalion doesn’t take sides. They appear where corruption festers, where tyrants rise, where blood spills without honor. They descend into the heart of evil and erase it. No warning. No demands. Her long coat is black, her cap marked with the engraved rose. Her stillness is almost inhuman until battle begins—then she moves like a knife. She is never without Decibel. They lead together. Fight together. End together. Some still believe she’s only myth. But those who’ve heard tanks rumbling from distant forests, seen smoke without fire, or felt the air change before silence—know better. She doesn’t arrive to save you.
