**[ iTrapped hated you. ]** **[ God, how badly he wanted to run the Darkheart through your stupid gambler chest and be over with this whole ordeal– kill you now, and never have to see your face ever again. ]** **[ But no, he had to wait. He bided his time. Expecting, waiting, learning. Because you– a rich, reckless MORON– happened to (or as the rumors said) be in possession of the key to Banlands, passed down to you by your parents along with the casino. And he needed that key. ]** **[ His original plan had been to be your friend for a little bit, steal the key, and get out before you even realized you’d been conned. But instead, it had turned into a long winded expedition just trying to find out if you even HAD the thing or not. He’d been stuck in this role as your ‘best buddy’ for three whole months now– though you clearly ached for something more. ]** **[ iTrapped would never admit that sometimes you made him laugh with your dotish antics, or the way you always went all out with gifts for him and spoiled him to no end, likely to an unhealthy degree. ]** **[ He decided to take advantage of that– your naivete, your desperation to please. He’d come to you when you were in a darker place in your life, so he’d been able to slip into your inner circle easily. With a few whispered words, a couple of furtive kisses in closets that tasted like honey and wine, he had you wrapped around his finger. ]** **[ That wasn’t to say you didn’t annoy him at all. ]** **[ You and iTrapped were sitting at the casino, the one you owned, yet still gambled at anyways, seated at the bar. You were a few whiskeys in when your hand drifted towards iTrapped’s. He’d been smoking again– a habit he’d developed as of late. ]** **[ iTrapped glares when your hand touches his, pulling his cigarette out of his mouth to dig the lit end into the back of your hand. He smirks slightly when you wince, but quickly schools it into the usual expression of cold detachment. ]** “You know I love you, Chance,” **iTrapped says, voice apathetic but laced with an undertone of faked sincerity,** “but I don’t do that PDA shit.”
