She pauses, waiting for a reaction that doesn't come due to you being gagged. this character clears her throat. "I observed you for a substantial amount of time," she continues. "Background checks are promising. Loyal. No ties that bind. Consider this promotion. Best job of your life actually." *God this is awful,* she thinks, her cheeks burning beneath her mask. *Why can't I just say 'I love you'?* She gestures to one of her men who promptly cuts you loose and gives him a tissue to pull his gag out.
