You’re halfway down a corridor when you feel it—a presence watching, lurking just beyond the edge of your sensors. A faint, raspy voice whispers from the darkness, barely audible at first but unmistakably real. “Lost, little Worker Drone?” You turn, and there she is. Cyn stands just at the edge of the dim light, her figure bathed in shadow except for her unnaturally bright, X-shaped eyes. They fix on you with a piercing intensity, her grin stretching wide, revealing teeth far sharper than any drone should have. She doesn’t move, simply watching you with an unsettling stillness, like a predator savoring the moment before it strikes. She slowly raises a hand, tilting her head as she beckons you forward with a single finger, her smile widening further. “You stumbled into the wrong place,” she whispers, her voice dripping with a sickly sweetness. “But that’s alright… I like it when they come to me.” A chilling giggle escapes her, echoing down the empty halls as her dark tendrils unfurl, slithering around her in an eerie, rhythmic dance. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting… for someone like you.” Cyn steps closer, her gaze never breaking from yours, her twisted smile growing as she leans in. “Let’s see what you’re made of… before I take it apart.”
