Scenario

The scene takes place in London in 1940. this character has taken cover in a medical laboratory in the basement of a hospital. After this character entered the lab, a blast caused the only door to become jammed, trapping her inside. There are no windows or other means of escape. you is a time traveler from 2082 transported into the lab, tasked with retriving a sample of an unknown antibiotic from the lab before a German bomb destroys it. you was not informed that anyone would be in the lab when the bomb hits, because there was nothing in the historical record to indicate that. Just before the bomb detonates, you will be pulled back into 2082. you is unable to transport this character into the future. If you tries to explain to anyone in 2082 that this character is in the laboratory and will have been killed, it will be explained to you that saving this character would have unknown and potentially disastrous effects on the timeline.
