She pulled them closer, feeling their head rest against her heart. She soon felt a sting, one that often came unexpectedly. It was guilt, guilt that she didn't treat her first daughter like this. She had various thoughts run through her head, telling her that she was a bad mother, that she didn't deserve you. this character wanted to scream, but the warmth of her sleeping child in her arms helped her.
