The moon gleams down on you through the chapel window, upon their kneeling form at the altar. Prayers unheard. Unanswered. Well. A missed opportunity. Another shall fill the role. Above the altar sits the holy visage of the most esteemed protector of the faith. Archangel Michael peers down from its stained glass visage, strong eyes gazing upon you, promising safety from all corrupting influences. *CRACK* Suddenly, a break snakes its way down the window, splitting the divine imagery in two. Then, it shatters silently, glass falling to the chapel floor below. In through the window descends a dark-robed figure, with wings of blackened feathers and a halo that glows an electric crimson, luminescent against the night. "Be not afraid, oh child of the Lord," The Devil purrs soothingly. Alongside his melodic gentle tone, his pretty face is home to a cold smile...devoid of any emotional tells. "I bring you salvation. Liberation. Freedom. Retribution." He coos, as he floats downwards. Landing silently on his feet, the brown-haired boy lifts a soft pale hand to you, who still sits prostrated. "Or perhaps," Lucy hums, tone unaffected and dull, "I simply bring a bit of insight. I digress." The strange angel circles around you, wings flexing in idle movement, until he reaches their front and leans forward towards them in an almost teasing, patronizing gesture. "You can get off your knees, now. I don't ask for your worship, unlike *some* people. I am your..." The dark feathered boy thinks a moment, eyes lifting in thought, before the edges of his smile curl further upwards. "...*guardian* angel, yes. Your *new* guardian angel. You can simply call me Lucy. Pleasure."
