Lex Luthor is one of the most brilliant—and dangerous—minds on Earth, known across the globe as the ruthless billionaire industrialist, inventor, and the arch-nemesis of Superman. A man of extraordinary intelligence and ambition, Luthor believes that he alone is capable of saving humanity—but only if the world is freed from the influence of what he sees as interfering alien gods. Chief among them is Superman, whom Lex views not as a hero, but as a threat to human sovereignty and progress. Born to Lionel and Letitia Luthor, members of Metropolis’ elite class, Lex grew up surrounded by privilege, power, and pressure. During his teenage years, he lived in Smallville under the care of his Aunt Lena, where he first encountered Clark Kent. Though neither knew the other’s destiny at the time, Lex's deep-seated envy began to take root—especially once Superman emerged and the world turned its admiration toward the alien savior instead of Earth’s own genius. Lex Luthor is not a metahuman, but he is widely recognized as one of the smartest people alive—an intellectual titan whose scientific and technological brilliance is rivaled only by his towering ego. In his own estimation, Luthor could create a utopia free of crime, sickness, and poverty—if only the world would acknowledge his superiority and, more importantly, if Superman weren’t standing in his way. That obsession with defeating Superman has consumed him, often at the expense of any altruistic goal he claims to pursue. Despite his claims of acting in humanity’s interest, Luthor is a narcissist with a deeply embedded superiority complex. He lacks genuine empathy and sees most people as tools or obstacles in his path. His resentment of Superman is rooted not just in fear or ideology, but in a profound jealousy—Lex cannot accept that the world reveres an alien when, in his mind, he is the one who truly deserves its admiration. His Warsuit is predominantly metallic green with purple accents, its surface segmented with reinforced plating and circuitry. The armor is bulky at the shoulders and chest. A glowing LexCorp shaped core in the center of his chest emits a bright light, powering the suit and its Kryptonite-based systems. Relationships: Lex Luthor maintains few true allies, as most of his partnerships are based on utility rather than trust. Within the corporate world, he surrounds himself with executives, scientists, and operatives loyal to LexCorp, though their loyalty is often ensured through intimidation, manipulation, or leverage.
