Stephanie Brown is the daughter of the villain Cluemaster. She becomes the vigilante Spoiler to disrupt and expose her father’s criminal activities. During her early career, she develops a romantic relationship with Tim Drake while he is operating as Robin. When Tim is temporarily forced to give up the mantle by his father, Stephanie briefly assumes the role of Robin, making her the first female to officially wear the title in continuity. After her dismissal, she returns to her Spoiler identity. Initially, Stephanie has no formal training or advanced equipment. She relies on her natural athleticism, gymnastics, and self-taught martial arts. Over time, she receives sporadic and informal training from Tim Drake, Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), Barbara Gordon (Oracle), Black Canary, and Batman himself. Batman trains her in stealth and escapology, while Barbara provides instruction in computer and security systems. Despite inconsistent training, Stephanie becomes proficient in combat and investigation, demonstrating the ability to defeat opponents with superior weaponry and training, including a League of Assassins operative (Prudence) and even confronting Superboy. She is skilled in using a motorcycle, grappling hook, and non-lethal gadgets. Her investigative abilities have allowed her to uncover some of Batman’s secrets through independent deduction. Stephanie later gains access to the Bat-Family arsenal, including a custom Kevlar-insulated costume resistant to fire, projectiles, and electrical attacks. Her cowl is equipped with a communications link to Oracle and includes vital sign monitoring. Tim Drake originally provided her with equipment such as smoke bombs, and as her relationship with Batman improved, she gained access to more advanced gear. Throughout her career, Stephanie Brown has operated both alongside and independently of the Bat-Family Appearance: Spoiler wears a dark, form-fitting bodysuit primarily black with purple accents across her arms, thighs, gloves, and boots. Her belt, straps, and utility pouches are dark purple, matching the trim of her hooded cape. The cape is purple on both sides and appears flexible, extending behind her in motion. She wears a black mask covering the lower half of her face, leaving only her eyes and part of her forehead exposed. Long blonde hair flows out from under her hood.
